Emil Tangham Hazelhurst is an Associate Lecturer of corpus linguistics at Lancaster University. He is currently participating in an ESRC funded research project in collaboration with the British Council involving language testing and acquisition through the use of corpus techniques. He has published previously in the areas of language acquisition, corpus analysis, and ecocriticism and has written for The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Computer-Assisted Language Learning. He is also the co-editor of the upcoming collection Apocalyptic Ecolinguistics: Language, Landscape, and Ecoanxiety in the Age of Ecological Crisis with Bloomsbury.
